The Gilbert-Ross lab is focused on the molecular and cell biologic mechanisms that drive tumor progression and metastasis. Our investigations take shape as focused inquiries and discovery-based platforms. Currently, our lab uses a multi-model approach to solve complex problems in cancer biology. Our current approaches include:
i) Genetics and cell biology using Drosophila melanogaster
ii) Pre-clinical experiments in genetically engineered mouse models
iii) Advanced in vivo microscopy techniques
