Winship Lung SPORE Names Recipients

Dr. Gilbert-Ross has been selected as one of four Winship investigators named the inaugural recipients of pilot grants funded by the Winship Lung Cancer Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE). Each pilot grant provides $50,000 per year to support projects focused on career enhancement or developmental research. Our project is entitled: A rapid and genetically tractable whole animal model to identify novel vulnerabilities in lung cancer

Advanced Imaging Center at Janelia

The Gilbert-Ross Lab has been invited to visit the Advanced Imaging Center at Janelia in order to use the Simultaneous Multiview Light-Sheet Microscope. There are only two of these microscopes in the world, and we are the third group to use the only one that is available to outside research groups.
